Police say Keedysville man who crashed car has died

January 25, 2012

WILLIAMSPORT — A Keedysville man who crashed his car at the intersection of Md. 68 at Grafton Lane early Tuesday morning died, according to a Maryland State Police spokesman.

But Warren Steven Roelkey’s death was not related to the crash, Cpl. Chris Barnard said.

Roelkey lost control of his 2005 Kia Sedona due to “unknown medical problems,” Barnard said.

The single-vehicle crash happened about 8:14 a.m. when Roelkey was traveling east on Md. 68. Roelkey drifted off the roadway and struck an embankment at Grafton Lane, Barnard said.

Roelkey, who was wearing his seatbelt, was unresponsive at the scene, police said.
