The fourth annual Cinderella’s Closet fundraiser to benefit the Humane Society of Washington County is scheduled for Friday, March 9, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the Health Occupations classroom at Washington County Technical High School on Oak Ridge Drive in Hagerstown.

The event is hosted by the student government at Tech High. The public is invited.

The premise of Cinderella’s Closet is to provide formal dresses for students to purchase at reduced prices. None of the dresses will be sold for more than $40.

The students are asking for donations of gently worn gowns/formal wear. They need all sizes; however, a request is being made for plus-size dresses. They will also accept accessories such as gently worn shoes, handbags, ties, coats and suits.

Items can be dropped off at the front office at Tech High, 50 W. Oak Ridge Drive, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. until Thursday, March 8. They can also be taken to the shelter at 13011 Maugansville Road during regular office hours until March 8.
