MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A 25-year-old Martinsburg man was charged Friday with two felony counts of using a computer to solicit a minor and five felony counts of failure to provide notice of changes as a registered sex offender, West Virginia State Police said.

Brandon Rontae Dais, who was already incarcerated at the Eastern Regional Jail on a probation violation, is currently being held without bond on his fugitive status and on a $90,000 bond for the new charges in Berkeley County, police said in a news release.

Police allege Dais failed to report several personal social network accounts, as well as multiple personal email accounts, on his sex offender registration documents.

An investigation also revealed that Dais had allegedly been engaged in the sexual solicitation of a 14-year-old Chambersburg, Pa., girl in the past month, police said.
