Debra Lee Roberts, 53, of Keedysville, Md., a loving wife and mother who was dedicated to the things of God, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

She was born Sept. 25, 1958, in Hagerstown to Elsie Viola Rohrer Cooper of Keedysville and the late James Clifton Cooper.

She received her bachelor's degree from Frostburg State University.

She was a lifelong member of Mount Briar First Church of God, Keedysville.

She was employed by State Farm Insurance for 24 years and most recently worked at Boonsboro Elementary School as a paraprofessional.

Survivors besides her mother include her husband, Wesley H. Roberts, married for 31 years, of Keedysville; daughter, Megan L. Roberts, at home; son, Logan W. Roberts, at home; sister, Susie Leggett of Keedysville; brother, Ernie Witmer of Sharpsburg, Md.; sister, Doris Roberts of Keedysville.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Friday, Jan. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. Friday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Burnside First Church of God, 3904 Mills Road, Sharpsburg, on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m., with Pastors Joseph Burdette and Ernie Witmer officiating. Interment will be in Samples Manor Cemetery, Dargan, Md.
