Police investigate burglary from auto-body repair shop

Authorities are investigating the theft of several paint guns and other items that were taken during a burglary Monday at a Dual Highway auto-body repair shop, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said.

The burglary was reported at 8:38 a.m. at the Sharrett Collision Center at 1333 Dual Highway east of Hagerstown, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Deputies said that in addition to the paint guns, the burglars made off with a DeWalt buffer and a battery-charger box.
