Hendershot’s Sporting Goods

Hendershot’s Sporting Goods is moving its store to 19828 National Pike in Hagerstown this spring. It currently is at 110 W. Main St. in Hancock.

Hendershot’s is a family-owned business that has served the Tri-State area for more than 50 years.

It will be doubling its current amount of retail space in the new, modern building, and will have an extensive selection of rifles, handguns and accessories including brands such as Dakota, Cooper, H-S Precision, Ed Brown, Glock, Smith & Wesson, Sig Sauer, Ruger, Wilson Combat, Rock River, Remington, Winchester and Henry. It will continue to offer its line of custom hand-loaded “Extreme” ammunition.

Hendershot’s has an experienced staff with a background in the hunting and shooting industry who can provide consultations on hunting excursions to New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina.

Pocket Pair Poker League

Effective Jan. 14, Pocket Pair Poker League will host a weekly free Texas Hold ’em poker tournament at The Creekside Inn, 1225 Security Road in Hagerstown.

Membership in the league is free and a $1,400 prize pool is available to winners.
