Gloria Maxine Poole, 71, of Clear Spring, Md., passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at her daughter's home in Keedysville.
Born Feb. 7, 1940, in Hancock, Md., she was the daughter of the late Resley and Vesta (Keefer) Weller.
She was baptized into the Christian faith.
She was employed by Maryland Ribbon for numerous years, and helped clean at Johns Hopkins University Geological Research Station.
Gloria loved her pet dogs, Jenny and Josie; and her doves.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Theodore C. Poole of Clear Spring; three daughters, Kitty D. Moats and husband, Danny, of Big Pool, Cindy G. Poole and friend, Amos Mills, of Clear Spring, and Lisa D. Neff and husband, Ron, of Keedysville; one son, Kelly G. Poole and friend, Cindy Baker, of Hagerstown; a brother, Eugene R. Weller of Greencastle, Pa.; two sisters, Laura M. Spence of Fairplay and Shelby J. Kelly of Greencastle, Pa.; and grandchildren, Scott O. Moats, R.J. Neff, Kira B. Poole and Katelin D. Neff.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Darlene V. Weller and Glenda B. Weller; and two brothers, Lester G. Weller and David L. Weller.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Family and friends will gather at the graveside. Services will be Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Blairs Valley Church of God Cemetery, Clear Spring.
