Gail June Joiner Lindman, 86, a resident of Cleveland and a former resident of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at a local hospital. She attended First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Christian Women’s Club.  

She will be remembered as a great mother of six children.

Mrs. Lindman was the daughter of the late Forrest Joiner and Esther Palmer Joiner and was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Melvin E. Lindman and a brother, Larry Joiner.

She is survived by her six children and spouses: Janet and Lloyd Eismeier of Cleveland, Janell and Ken Almquist of Williamsburg, Va., Jean and Jim Kahle of Greenville, S.C., Ross and Lisa Lindman of Panama City Beach, Fla., Brian and Cathie Lindman of Bradenton, Fla., and Glenn and Jennie Lindman of Woodraff, S.C.; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a large extended family also survives.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Moncrief officiating.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Interment will be in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens.
