Library to give seminar on downloading music, books

Do you have a new Nook, Kindle, iPad, iPhone, or Sony MP3 player?

Need a little help learning how to download books or music?

The Smithsburg branch library, at 66 W. Water St. in Smithsburg, will host an E-Library open house Tuesday, Jan. 24, from noon to 2 p.m.  

The library staff will show attendees how to download music and books. Your library card offers free access to Maryland’s Digital Library and Overdrive by EBSCOhost, as well as Freegal Music, making thousands of books and hundreds of thousands of songs in the Sony Music catalog available free to library cardholders.
