Charles A. Troiano Jr., 73, of Leesburg, Fla., and formerly of Sharpsburg, Md., passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, in Leesburg.

Born in Washington, D.C., he moved to Leesburg from Crossville, Tenn., a year and a half ago. Mr. Troiano was a construction superintendent, and a very active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He had a love for the outdoors, drawing, woodworking and music, especially bluegrass music. He was a very talented artist, excelling in making mandolins, for which he appeared on a National Geographic television show two times to showcase his talents.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Leesburg; daughters, Debbie McLean of Banner Elk, N.C., Tracy Makoutz of Finksburg, Md., Donna Suzanne Brown of Redland Hills, Calif., and Samantha Troiano of Leesburg; sisters, Trudy T. Payne of Bunker Hill, W.Va., and Francesca Hamilton of Wardensville, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Jan, 7, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Umatilla, Fla.
