7-Eleven store in Hagerstown robbed at gunpoint overnight

Hagerstown police are investigating an armed robbery early Friday at the 7-Eleven convenience store at 802 Salem Ave.

The robbery was reported at 2:57 a.m., according to a Hagerstown Police Department press release.

Two males, one displaying a handgun, entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area, police said.

Police ask anyone who has information concerning the robbery to call HPD's Criminal Investigation Division at 301-790-3700.
