FROSTBURG, Md. — Moni Anderson scored a team-high 15 points for Broadfording Christian in a loss to Mountain Ridge.
Mo Sallah had seven points, 13 rebounds and three blocks and Cisco Silva had seven points, nine rebounds and three assists for the Lions (8-8).

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. — Macey Hollenshead scored a game-high 29 points, including three 3-pointers and Southern Fulton outscored Northern Bedford (8-2, 4-1) 12-3 in overtime to claim a victory and take sole possesion of first place in the Sideling Hill League.
Hollenshead added five rebounds and two assists, Taelor Morton had 12 points, six rebounds and three asssists and Jenna Hollenshead had eight rebounds for the Indians (8-0, 4-0).

Nikki Fleming also had a double-double with 15 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, Sarrah Pollock had 11 points and four assists and Libby Strayer had 10 points and six steals for the Spartans (4-5, 2-3).

BRIEF
Church softball league meeting
The Hagerstown Area Church Softball League will hold its first organizational meeting for the 2012 season Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. at Tri-State Fellowship on Cearfoss Pike, west of Hagerstown.
The meeting is for current and new teams. Up to three churches may merge to form one team if necessary. The league will also introduce a co-ed division this season.
