F&M Trust

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — F&M Trust presented a check for $1,500 to the Franklin County (Pa.) Therapeutic Riding Center in financial support of its “Sponsor a Horse” program.

The Franklin County Therapeutic Riding Center, on Franklin Farm Lane in Chambersburg, provides recreation and therapy through horsemanship to those with special needs.

The therapeutic riding program is an all-volunteer supported horse-riding program for the disabled. No riding experience is necessary for participation, and individuals ride once a week from April through October.

The program is administered by the Franklin County Cooperative Extension and the Penn State University Cooperative Extension.

The bank’s financial support will be used for the feeding and boarding of Teddy, a 19-year-old quarter horse who arrived at the center this year.

Parker Plastics Inc.

Parker Plastics Inc., a privately held company that manufactures custom packaging and containers, is expanding its operations in the Baer-Mac building on 105 Enterprise Lane in the Washington County Business Park.

In August, the company occupied an additional 30,000 square feet of space, providing the facility a total of 93,000 square feet.



CNB Financial Services Inc.

Charles S. Trump IV, chairman of the board of directors of CNB Financial Services Inc., announced that the board, at its regular meeting on Nov. 28, declared a regular semiannual cash dividend of $0.53 per share and a special cash dividend of $0.32 per share to common shareholders.  

Total cash dividends paid in 2011 to common shareholders were $1.38. The board also declared a regular semiannual cash dividend of $0.583 per share and a special cash dividend of $0.352 per share to Class A common shareholders. Total cash dividends paid in 2011 to Class A common shareholders were $1.518.

The dividend was payable to shareholders of record Dec. 13, and was payable Dec. 15.



Saunders Tax & Accounting    

Saunders Tax & Accounting on Dec. 8 celebrated the grand opening of its new North End location in Hagerstown, just off Pennsylvania Avenue at 18710 Crestwood Drive.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured Del. Neil Parrott, Chamber of Commerce staff, administration from The Hope Center of Hagerstown Rescue Mission, clients and guests.

The new office on Crestwood Drive is the main office and will be open all year.

The office on Virginia Avenue will be open during tax season, January through April 15. Services include accounting, payroll and bookkeeping, as well as year-round tax preparation and planning.
