MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Stroller Strides, the nation’s largest fitness program for new mothers, has arrived in Martinsburg.

Stroller Strides of Martinsburg celebrated its grand opening Nov. 15, at Team Extreme Sportsplex in the Berkeley Plaza shopping center.

The business held a grand opening Nov. 16 at the Sportsplex in Winchester, Va.

Stroller Strides is a total fitness program for new moms that they can do with their babies. It includes power walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing and the stroller. Taught by nationally certified instructors, it’s a great workout for any level of exerciser. Instructors weave songs through the workout and incorporate activities to make it fun for babies, as well.

In addition to the classes, Stroller Strides offers play groups and moms’ nights out, giving women an opportunity to socialize and further relationships.

Hours in Martinsburg are Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Hours in Winchester are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
