Jody Lynn Jacques, 48, of 13442 Station Lane in Smithsburg, Md., went to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at her home.

Born Tuesday, July 30, 1963, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of James A. Angle of Chambersburg and Cecile J. (Starliper) Angle of Mercersburg, Pa.

She graduated from James Buchanan High School and later attended Hagerstown Community College.

She was formerly employed by the Washington County Free Library and currently was taking care of the operations of the family business.

Jody was an active member of Ringgold Church of Christ, where she passionately served on the Missions Committee and served on the Women's, Children and Teen Ministries.

Besides her parents she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Walter C. Jacques; daughter, Laura L Jacques; sons, Bradley C. Jacques of Columbia, Md., and Steven M. Jacques and Anthony S. Jacques, both of Smithsburg; sisters, Jamie Craven and Janie Burkhart, both of Newport News, Va.; and brothers, Jeffrey Angle and Curtis Angle, both of Chambersburg.

Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Ringgold Church of Christ, 14414 Barkdoll Road, Hagerstown, with Pastor Don Conley officiating. Interment will be in Ringgold Cemetery, Ringgold, Md.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ringgold Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Jody, for the benefit of Mission Ministries, c/o Ringgold Church of Christ, 14414 Barkdoll Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.
