Christmas Eve cantata

Ebenezer AME Church's Senior Choir will hold its 36th annual Christmas Eve cantata Saturday at 9 p.m. This year's cantata is titled "A Light Still Shines." The community is invited.

The congregation will celebrate Christmas on Sunday, beginning at 10 a.m.

The church is at 40 Bethel St. in Hagerstown.

Christmas Eve service

Second Christian Church, at 65 W. North Ave. in Hagerstown, will hold its Christmas Eve service Saturday, starting at 6 p.m.

All are welcome.

The church will be closed Christmas Day so members can spend time with their families.

Bridge of Life

Bridge of Life Church's Christmas celebration will be at 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve,  and the celebration will start and end early and include the church's Worship Team, One Accord Youth, Dance Team and Children's Ministry.

On Sunday, the church encourages families to gather at home for worship (with no Sunday school or worship at the church building). Materials are available to assist family leaders.

Blossom School

Blossom School of Etiquette classes begin Saturday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at  Hagerstown Presbyterian Church, 20 S. Prospect St. in Hagerstown.


The classes are free for girls ages 7 to 17.
