Hagerstown Bridge Club announces charity game results

Thirty-pairs competed in a charity game to benefit the American Cancer Society on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Overall winners in Flight A were: first place, Anne and Frank Carden with a 69.1 percent game; second, Scott Kiser and Richard Evans with 65.5 percent; third, Mary Katzmann and Phillip Davis; fourth, Richard Taylor and Ron Clawson; fifth, Charles Lesher and David Abuhove, and sixth, Candy Greenway and Robert Back.  

Flight B: third place, Charles Meister and Alan Walter; fourth, Barbara Beard and Myrna Kinman; fifth, Hilda Sullivan and Margaret Hays; and sixth, Gerry O'Malley and Ralph Cate. Flight C fourth, Beatrice Van Norden and Mary Archer.

East-West winners in Flight A: fourth place, Willa Garner and Kathleen Goss; fifth, Lois Taylor and Robert Freed. Flight B: fourth, Joanne and Robert Dickinson.
