Antietam Church of God, Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, candlelight Christmas Eve service with communion at 11 p.m. Saturday. Special music and soloists. Pastor Rachel Black and Caleb Wilson will be the readers.

Blair's Valley First Church of God, Clear Spring, Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Saturday with children's recitations. A skit by Bev Hawbaker will be presented by adults titled "The Joy of Christmas."

Bridge of Life, a Christmas Eve celebration featuring the worship team, One Accord Youth, dance team and children's ministry at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Len Smith will speak on Joseph's Dream. There will also be singing of Christmas carols, music by the choir and a handbells duet.

Brownsville Church of the Brethren, Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., Sharing Hands Fellowship at noon, family Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Saturday with younger choirs and the Calvary band. Illustrated message This Child is Special! Festival of music at 10:30 p.m. Traditional candlelight communion service at 11 p.m., with meditation on Come to the Manger!

Mount Vernon Reformed United Church of Christ, Keedysville, candlelight Christmas Eve service with a blessing of the animals at 5 p.m. Saturday. Pets need to be on leash or in a pet carrier. Pastor Delancy Catlett will bring the Christmas message, and Ross Semler will sing.

Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Mercersburg, Pa., Pastor Christopher W. Martin will lead a Christmas Eve traditional candlelight service with communion at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Otterbein United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., Christmas Eve service at 7 and 11 p.m. Saturday. The service will include Christmas carols, a Christmas message, special music and candle-lighting. The 11 p.m. service also includes communion.

Potomac Charge, Christmas play at Parkhead at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23; Christmas Eve candlelight service at 9 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's. Pastor W. Scott Summers' topic will be How Do I Deal with This Stress?

St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Williamsport, the Rev. Mark Sandell will preach on The Wonder of Christmas at the 7 p.m. Christmas Eve communion service Saturday.

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Christmas Eve family candlelight service at 7 p.m. Saturday.

St. John's Episcopal Church, Christmas Eve communion services at 6 and 11 p.m. Saturday. The first service will include a children's pageant and youth choirs. Music for Christmas begins at 10:30 p.m. and will include carols, the Parish Choir, soloists and instrumentalists.

St. John's Lutheran Church, Christmas Eve worship Saturday at 6:45 p.m.; 7 p.m. family candlelight communion worship with special music; 10:30 p.m. Christmas music; and 11 p.m. traditional candlelight communion worship with special music. Pastor Edward Heim's sermon will be The Light Comes.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Lappans, a Christmas Eve service designed for children, 5 p.m. Saturday. The adult choir sings a choral prelude at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., prior to the 7 and 10 p.m. services. Communion at all services.

St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, West Hagerstown United Methodist Parish candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Jerry Lowans will tell the Christmas story to the children and preach on Love Came Down at Christmas. Birthday cake served after the service. The combined choirs of St. Matthew's and Washington Square United Methodist churches will sing.

St. Paul Lutheran Church, McConnellsburg, Pa., Pastor Christopher W. Martin will lead a Christmas Eve candlelight communion service at 9 p.m. Saturday.

St. Paul's Free Lutheran Church, Leitersburg, Christmas Eve worship at 9 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Terry Culler will preach on the topic Two Natures — One God. No Sunday service this week.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Big Cove Tannery, Pa., Christmas Eve program led by the Sunday school department at 7 p.m. Saturday.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Clear Spring, Christmas Eve candlelight service with communion at 9 p.m. Saturday.

St. Peter's (Beard's) Lutheran Church, Christmas Eve service with communion at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. David C. Baker's topic will be With People Like This.

Salem Reformed Church, Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Stephen Wagoner will speak on Putting on God's Glasses. The musical "Mary Did You Know" will be performed.

Shiloh United Methodist Church, candlelight Christmas Eve family worship at 7 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Ken Fizer will give the message The Message is Born.

Trinity Episcopal Church, Chambersburg, Pa., the Rev. Patrick Pierce will be preacher and celebrant at the 5 p.m. family communion with carols and the 10:30 p.m. festival communion service. His topic will be The World Turned Upside Down. Harpist Darian Scatton will perform.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Smithsburg, Christmas Eve traditional service of carols and communion at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. An interactive family service will be at 7 p.m. and a candlelight and communion service with special music will be at 11 p.m. Saturday.

Valley Assembly of God, Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. Saturday.
