HAGERSTOWN — Two juveniles charged in  nine vehicle tire slashings
There were at least nine incidents of vehicle tires being slashed on Sunday in the areas of East Irvin Avenue, Magnolia Avenue and Mealey Parkway, Hagerstown police said.
Two juveniles have been charged in those incidents, according to police reports.
Later in the day, there were three reports of damage to vehicles in the 200 block of East Irvin Avenue, police said.
There were also three reports of windows being broken on vehicles in the 500 block of Security Road, police said.
It is unclear if the later incidents were related to the ones in which the juveniles were charged, city police Lt. Tom Langston said Tuesday.

Electronic devices, cash, rifle taken in daytime burglary
Numerous electronic devices, $2,300 in cash and a .22-caliber rifle were stolen during a daytime burglary in the 100 block of Pangborn Boulevard in Hagerstown on Friday, city police said.
It is believed the house was entered through a basement door, according to Hagerstown police Lt. Tom Langston. A window on the door was broken, he said.

Two city golf carts stolen,  left abandoned in a ditch
Two golf carts were reported stolen from the Hagerstown Golf Course on Saturday, city police said.
The golf carts were found Sunday in a ditch west of Bartow Drive near Garland Groh Boulevard, Hagerstown police Lt. Tom Langston said.
The carts were found in a ditch hanging over a concrete wall, Langston said.

Bobcat auger bit stolen from Dual Highway site
A large auger bit that attaches to Bobcat construction equipment was reported stolen from behind Martin’s on the Dual Highway in Hagerstown on Dec. 7, city police said.
The bit was next to some storage trailers and other Bobcat equipment, Hagerstown police Lt. Tom Langston said.
