BOYS BASKETBALL
HILTON HEAD, S.C. — Jalen Lewis had a game-high 24 points, eight assists and five steals to lead Martinsburg to a 78-55 victory over Sumter (S.C.) in the semifinals of the Hilton Oceanfront Resort Holiday Classic on Sunday.
Donte Grantham also had big game for the Bulldogs (3-0) with 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. Jordan Robinson added 11 points in the victory.
Martinsburg will play in the championship game today at 4:30 p.m. as head coach Dave Rogers will try for his 600th career victory with the Bulldogs.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. — Hedgesville fell in overtime in the semifinals of the Hilton Oceanfront Resort Holiday Classic.
Tyana Monette had 12 points and eight rebounds to lead the Eagles (3-3), while Carly Elliott had 10 points and six rebounds and Kristen Nunn added 10 points.
Hedgesville plays Lexington (S.C.) at noon today for third place.

Indians go 4-1 at tourney
LAURELDALE, Pa. — Waynesboro went 4-1 at the Muhlenberg Tournament on Saturday, defeating Eastern York 40-31, Hershey 48-33, Central Dauphin East 45-30 and Muhlenberger 42-37. The Indians lost 42-33 to Brandywine Heights.
Kenyon Cuka (113 pounds) and Trey Andree (145) each went 5-0 with four pins for Waynesboro.

CARLISLE, Pa. — At the Dickinson Invitational on Saturday, Mercersburg Academy’s Brittany Burg won the girls 55-meter hurdles in a school-record time of 9.25 seconds, and Chambersburg won the boys 4x800 relay in 8:35.17.
