December 15, 2011

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — No charges will be filed against a Chambersburg Area School District employee who allegedly harassed an eighth-grade female student, police said Thursday.

“As a result of this investigation, it has been determined that the purported conduct did not rise to the level of a criminal act and as such no charges will be filed,” Chambersburg police said in a news release.

Police said in the statement that the Chambersburg Area School District contacted them about an adult male employee who allegedly engaged in inappropriate conduct with an eighth-grade, female student.

The incident was reported on Nov. 18, but occurred approximately two years ago, according to police.

The conduct was reported to be a sexually explicit conversation between the adult male and the female student, police said.
