ST. JAMES — Obi Enechionyia scored 18 points for Saint James in a 78-70 Mid Atlantic Conference loss to Sidwell Friends (5-4, 2-0) on Tuesday night.

Nnamdi Enechionyia and Avery Wilmore had 16 points each, Fred Slater had 10 points, including three 3-pointers and Emmitt Orfan had 10 points for the Saints (1-3, 1-1).

Moni Anderson had 17 points and four assists to lead Broadfording Christian Academy past Cumberland Valley Christian (3-3, 0-3) in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Ben Cradduck had 17 points and five rebounds, Cisco Silva had 13 points, six rebounds, three blocks, six steals and three assists and Mo Sallah had a double-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for the Lions (6-4, 5-0).

On Monday, Sallah had a game-high 25 points and Silva added 11 to lead Broadfording to a 51-28 over Heritage Academy.

Alex Cosner had six points and nine rebounds and Ben Cosner had eight rebounds for the Eagles (2-2, 2-2).

RUNNING

Pessagno raises money for childhood cancer

PHILADELPHIA — Hagerstown native Steven Pessagno, 41, recently completed the Philadelphia Half Marathon in 2:06:42, placing 3,912th out of 9,388 finishers.

More importantly, Pessagno, who lives in Philadelphia, used the race as a fundraising effort for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for childhood cancer, and he collected more than $7,500 in donations.
