Hilda Rosebud Hamill, 96, of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at Homewood Retirement Center, Williamsport.
Born June 9, 1915, in Gore, Va., to the late Nellie Corrine Fletcher.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Morris B. Heefner Sr., in 1975 and her second husband, Lynwood L. Hamill, in 1996.
She was employed by L'Aiglon of Hagerstown, for 35 years until her retirement.
She attended Harvest Baptist Church Hagerstown.
Survivors include daughter, Doris V. Davis and her husband, Robert, of Williamsport, daughter, Audie C. Dowler and her husband, Bobby, of Hagerstown; son, Morris B. Heefner Jr. and his wife, Bettie, of Jamesville, N.C.; son-in-law, Roger D. Kinzer of Pinesburg; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Jean F. Kinzer.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor James Moore officiating.
