Joseph Michael Dutrow, 41, of South Cannon Avenue, Hagerstown, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at his home.
Born June 6, 1970, at Washington County Hospital, he was the son of Joseph Roger and Mary Kathryn Shope Dutrow of Hagerstown.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He was a very talented musician who could play guitar, drums, bass and keyboard, among other instruments. He sang lead in many different bands, including his own band, Jinx, of Hagerstown, with his late brother, Michael William Dutrow, as the drummer.
In addition to both his parents, he is survived by one son, Adam Christopher Dutrow; three sisters, Patricia Renee Miller, Mary Elizabeth Dutrow and Jacqueline Michele Dutrow, six nieces, three nephews and one great-nephew, all of Hagerstown.
A memorial Mass will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The service will be given by the Rev. Limmer.
Afterward, the family will be accepting visitors in their home at 54 S. Cannon Ave. Donations will be accepted in place of flowers.
