HAGERSTOWN — The 100 block of South Potomac Street is closed at the Washington County Library site.

Work crews from Dustin Construction are receiving deliveries of building materials at the site, according to a traffic advisory from the City of Hagerstown's website, www.hagerstownmd.org.

The street is closed in order to accommodate the crane that will be used to lift these materials onto the building.

Traffic can take East Antietam Street, South Mulberry Street and East Baltimore Street to get around the closure.

The street is expected to remain closed until 4 p.m., according to the advisory.

Emergency vehicles will not be able pass through the work area during the closure.

The closure was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but it was moved to Friday due to inclement weather and scheduling issues, according to the advisory.
