The annual For Our Kids Sake fashion show was held Nov. 20 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center on West North Avenue in Hagerstown.

Those ages 18 months to 18 years participated.

The participants modeled clothes for school, Sunday school attire, teen fashions and some formal wear.

During the show, Devin Wilson recited every president of the United States from George Washington to Barrack Obama. He even included their middle names.

Courtney Harley sang “Jesus Take The Wheel,” and Kelly Wright, from Fox News, spoke to those in attendance with encouraging and inspiring words.

Following the event, refreshments were served.

Dot Bell and Clara Broadus, For Our Kid’s Sake co-chairwomen, want to thank the models and all those who supported the show.

They also are thankful for the fundraising events held on behalf of the organization. An extra thank-you goes to the Progressive Men’s Club of Hagerstown for its generosity.

Movie night

The movie “Kung Fu Panda 2” will be shown Saturday at 7 p.m. at Bridge of Life Church, 14 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.

The movie is free, and so are the popcorn and drinks.
