GREENCASTLE, Pa. — A Greencastle man was seriously injured in a three-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Antrim Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Robert J. Blair, 75, of Greencastle, was taken to Waynesboro Hospital, according to a state police news release.
He was in fair condition at the hospital Thursday morning, according to a spokesperson there.
Troopers said two sport-utility vehicles were stopped in traffic on U.S. 11 just south of Commerce Avenue at about 4:25 p.m., when a northbound Nissan Maxima driven by Blair struck one of the SUV’s. The collision caused the middle SUV to strike the SUV in front, police said.
Blair’s passenger, Mary J. Blair, 76, and the driver and passenger of the SUV in the middle suffered minor injuries, police said.
Troopers said the driver of the SUV in front was uninjured.
