Anna Mae Miles Haynes, 88, formerly of Clear Spring and a resident of Ravenwood Nursing Home, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at the home.

Born Oct. 25, 1923, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Good and Barbara Harshman Good.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry G. Miles, in 1969; and her second husband, Donald C. Haynes, in 1988.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Clear Spring and a graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was a secretary for Mack Trucks of Hagerstown, retiring after many years of service.

She is survived by her children; daughter, Barbara Miles Bramer Skipper of Selinsgrove, Pa.; stepdaughter, Julia Haynes Howard and husband, Gary Coye, of Bellingham, Wash.; sons, Dale E. Miles and wife, Burma, of Clear Spring, Stephen Miles and wife, Barbara, of Bel Camp (Baltimore, Md.), and Larry Miles and wife, Yvonne, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; son-in-law, Joel Chiralo of Baltimore; one sister, Josephine Good Miles and husband, John, of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Michele Ritchie, Matthew Miles, Michael Miles, Mark Bramer, Becky Bramer Deitrick, Jennifer Chiralo, Joshua Miles, Stacey Miles Hagerich and Stephanie Miles; stepgrandchildren, Stefen Howard and Amy Howard; great-grandchildren, Cody Ritchie, Riley Miles and Alex Hagerich; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Lachlan Howard, Zoe Howard, Eakin Howard and Eliza Howard.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn M. Miles; and two sisters, Kathleen Lecrone and Goldie Meckley.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be scheduled and announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 5 Public Square, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
