Broadfording Christian Academy junior and elementary chapel students recently filled 115 Operation Christmas Child gift boxes as part of the Operation Christmas Child project.

The program is run by Samaritan’s Purse, a nondenominational evangelical Christian humanitarian organization that works worldwide to assist with physical and spiritual needs of suffering people.

The gift boxes, which are filled with hygiene items, school supplies, toys, candy and a Bible message of hope, are distributed to needy children around the world.

Chapel leader Michelle Snodderly had the BCA chapel students pray over their boxes before sending them to Boone, N.C., for distribution.
