Harrison, Welsh are Tech High's students of the month

Harley Harrison and Brett Welsh have been named students of the month at Washington County Technical High School.

Harley Harrison is a senior enrolled in digital photography and digital film editing, advanced- placement U.S. history, advanced-placement literature and composition, and entrepreneurship.  She holds a 3.5 grade-point average.

She dedicates most of her time to her church and plans to join Lifehouse’s Master’s Commission, a leadership and missionary program, after high school.  

After completing Lifehouse courses, Harley plans to get a bachelor’s degree in digital media.  She said she has a great passion for music, including playing guitar and singing. She said creativity and community are essential parts of her life.  

Harley would like to thank her mother, her church and the Washington County Technical High School faculty for encouragement and support.

Brett is a senior enrolled in computer game development and animation, advanced-placement literature, honors psychology, advanced-placement U.S. history and physics.   

Brett is a member of the National Technical Honor Society.

He enjoys biking, hiking, playing video games and playing keyboard in the Boonsboro High School Marching Band.  

Brett currently holds a 3.67 GPA.  

He said he plans to further his education by attending college to get a degree in game design.  
Brett would like to thank his family and the faculty of Washington County Technical High School for their support.
