Members of Heritage Academy’s chapter of the National Honor Society conducted an induction ceremony Nov. 10.

Vice President Michael Donmoyer challenged the inductees to continue strong in the areas of scholarship, leadership, conduct and community service.
President Kathleen Kidd led the candle-lighting service, which included members Rob Martin, Peter Therrien, Abbey Jackson and Callie Butts, who each explained one of the four qualifications for membership.

Other honor society members assisted in the program. Stephanie O’Brien and Bryce Nigh read the biographies of the new members, and Zachary Muller had each inductee sign the membership register.
Jessica Gaylor played the piano processional, Tristan Prejean played the recessional on the violin and Rachel Clarke led the audience in singing the Heritage Academy alma mater.

Other Heritage students involved in the program included Benjamin Fultz and Jacob Kelley, who performed music.

Inductees include seniors Bryce Boyd, Chad Lowry, Mark Taggart and Adam Tresler. New members from the junior class are Ben Cosner, Stephen Fultz, Collin Poyle and Kara Stamper. Sophomore members include Aaron Anderson, Sarah Culver, Stephanie Eberly, Kristin Fisler and Nicole Gaylor.
