Martinsburg man charged with obstructing an officer

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Martinsburg man was released on bond Sunday from Eastern Regional Jail, a day after members of the Martinsburg Police Department executed a warrant for him in connection to a Nov. 30 complaint of shots fired/wanton endangerment, authorities said.

Karlo Sinclair, of 208 Pennsylvania Ave. in Martinsburg, was charged with obstructing an officer, according to a news release from the police department.

Police believe Sinclair and his vehicle were involved in the Nov. 30 incident, the release states. A man was directed to show his hands and step out of his car, but allegedly ignored officers’ orders and drove away from the scene of a felony investigation, the release states.

On Nov. 30, an unknown suspect fired eight shots, striking two parked vehicles in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, the release states. The shots also struck residences at 208 and 210 Pennsylvania Ave., police said.
