HAGERSTOWN — Wells Fargo Mortgage employees, friends and family spent Oct. 15 building a fence and steps for the Habitat for Humanity of Washington County’s Women Build/Educators’ house on Salem Avenue in Hagerstown.

In addition to helping finish the house for a local family, Wells Fargo Mortgage employees’ volunteer hours completed requirements for a $10,000 grant from Wells Fargo toward the house.

This is the second Wells Fargo office to apply for a grant this year on behalf of Habitat and to recruit volunteers for a work project.

Brittany Blankenship of Wells Fargo Mortgage organized the work day.
