Man hospitalized with traumatic facial injury

A man with life-threatening injuries was taken to Meritus Medical Center Sunday morning for a traumatic facial injury after an accident in a woodshop area, a 911 supervisor said.

The man was working with a saw in the 18800 block of Geeting Road when wood hit him in the face, according to Washington County Emergency Services. Geeting Road is south of Keedysville, between Dogstreet and Porterstown roads.

The accident was reported at 9:33 a.m. Sunday, the 911 supervisor said.
