Dolores Glendora Eyler, 83, of 301 Daycotah Avenue in Hagerstown, Md., died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at her home.

Born Nov. 30, 1928, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Waldo and Mary Marie Shafer Faulder.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Lloyd C. Eyler Jr., who died Aug. 1, 2003.

She graduated in 1946 from Hagerstown High School.

She was previously employed by Victor Products Corporation, and retired in 1989 from Washington County Board of Education.

She was a golden member of Grace United Methodist Church, and a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.

She was a member of West End Seniors.

She is survived by one daughter, Krista Yavulla and husband, Joseph, of Herndon, Va.; one son, David Eyler and wife, Peggy, of Williamsport, Md.; four granddaughters, Tara Byers and husband, Dustin, Sarah Eyler, Michelle Ehleinger and husband, Richard, and Nicole Yavulla; and two great-granddaughters, Kayley Byers and Kaycey Byers.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
