CASD employee allegedly had 'sexually explicit' conversation with eighth-grader

November 30, 2011

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Chambersburg police are investigating a complaint involving a Chambersburg Area School District employee who allegedly engaged in a "sexually explicit" conversation with an eighth-grader.

Police issued a statement this week confirming the investigation.

The school district contacted police Nov. 19 about information school officials received about an employee's "inappropriate conduct" with an eighth-grade girl two years ago, police said in the statement.

That conduct was reported as "a conversation of a sexually explicit nature," police said.

A district spokeswoman did not return a call seeking comment.
