Hagerstown Police respond to incidents

The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett.

Nov. 22


  • A rock was thrown through a window in the 300 block of South Mulberry Street and a person was struck in the face. The person had minor injuries.
  • Damage to a vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Freemont Street.
  • A domestic violence incident was reported in the 100 block of East Baltimore Street. An arrest was made.
  • An animal bite was reported in the 200 block of West Side Avenue.
  • A tobacco violation was reported at Antietam Academy.
  • Jewelry was stolen in a burglary in the 10 block of West Wilson Boulevard.
  • Items were stolen from a house in foreclosure in the 17000 block of Sinter Way. The items were stolen after a bank winterized the house.
  • A domestic violence incident was reported in the 500 block of North Mulberry Street. An arrest was made.

Nov. 23

  • Money was stolen at the REACH shelter.
  • A battery charger and a booster were stolen during a burglary in the 700 block of West Church Street.
  • An attended death was reported in the 1100 block of West Washington Street.
  • A burglary was reported in the 500 block of Ridge Avenue.
  • A purse was reported stolen in the 12000 block of Shank Farm Way.
  • An unattended death was reported on Noland Drive.

  • A purse was reported stolen at the Walmart on Garland Groh Boulevard.
  • An assault was reported at Hager Hall at 901 Dual Highway.
  • A strong-armed robbery was reported in the 60 block of Church Street.
  • A door was reported damaged at the Bulldog Federal Credit Union at 580 Northern Ave.
  • A domestic violence incident was reported in the 400 block of Guilford Avenue.
  • A domestic violence incident was reported in the 300 block of South Locust Street.

  • A theft from a vehicle was reported at an AC&T on Dual Highway.
  • A domestic violence referral was made in the 500 block of West Washington Street.

Nov. 27

  • A domestic violence incident was reported in the 400 block of North Locust Street.
  • An attended death was reported in the 600 block of Forest Street.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of North Potomac Street.
  • A theft of cable service was reported in the 10 block of Snyder Avenue. An arrest was made.
  • A domestic violence incident was reported in the 300 block of East Wilson Boulevard.
  • A domestic violence referral was made in the 100 block of Buena Vista Avenue.
  • A curfew violation and urination in public was reported in the 200 block of South Locust Street. An juvenile was arrested.

Nov. 28

  • A theft of a purse was reported in the 100 block of West North Avenue.
  • A domestic violence referral was made in the first block of South Cannon Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at Statton Furniture at 504 E. First St. An arrest was made.
  • A domestic violence incident was reported in the 800 block of Pine Street. An arrest was made.
  • A green Tomos moped was reported stolen in the 200 block of East Avenue.
