Woman charged with spitting in officer’s face
SCOTLAND, Pa. — A woman has been charged with spitting in the face of a correctional officer at the Franklin County Prison on Friday, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Anna J. Shaw, 42, of Chambersburg, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment in the 2:15 a.m. incident, state police said.

Pennsylvania State Police reported the following incidents in Fulton County:
• Approximately $2,500 in damage was caused at a camp on Nine Mile Road in Dublin Township between Nov. 11 and 25 after someone gained entry to the victim’s camp.
• A shed latch off East Shore Drive in Valley Hi borough was damaged between Aug. 20 and Nov. 25. The value of the damage was $10.

I-70 lane closed Monday
One lane of eastbound Interstate 70 near the Frederick County line was closed Monday night due to a vehicle fire, according to a Washington County 911 dispatcher.
The fire, which is near the 38-mile marker, was reported at 8:44 p.m., the dispatcher said.
No one was in the vehicle when the fire started, the dispatcher said.
Both eastbound lanes were closed, but one was back open as of 9:17 p.m., and the other was reopened about an hour later, the dispatcher said.
