Lanes of E. Baltimore St., S. Potomac St. reopen to traffic

HAGERSTOWN — Two Hagerstown streets are scheduled to reopen Friday, according to traffic advisories from the City of Hagerstown's website, www.hagerstownmd.org.

The left lane of South Potomac Street in front of the Washington County Library site at 100 S. Potomac St., which closed Friday at 10 a.m., is scheduled to reopen by 4 p.m. according to an advisory.

Crews from Dustin Construction have been pouring concrete and performing other work at the site where the library is being renovated. The work was expected to be finished by Friday afternoon.

East Baltimore Street, which has been closed between King Street and Mill Street since Monday for demolition work on the former Washington County Hospital, is scheduled to reopen at 6 p.m. Friday for the weekend, according to another advisory.

The road is scheduled to close again Monday, Nov. 21, through Wednesday, Nov. 23. and from Monday, Nov. 28 through Friday, Dec. 2, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.
