No one was injured Friday morning in a single-car accident on eastbound Interstate 70 between Exits 28 and 29, Trooper Bussard of Maryland State Police said.

The 9 a.m. accident happened when the driver of a car in the left lane fell asleep at the wheel, said Bussard, who did not give his first name.

The car spun across the interstate and slid down an embankment on the right side of the interstate.

The car was upright off the side of the interstate on a hill.
