Waynesboro Hospital tree lighting set for Dec. 4

November 18, 2011

WAYNESBORO, Pa. — The Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary will host its 21st annual Lights of Hope tree lighting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. This event will be held in the outpatient lobby of the hospital.

Each tree light represents a tax-deductible donation of $10 or more given in memory or in honor of an individual friend or loved one. This year the star at the top of the tree will memorialize Betty Thompson, life member of the Hospital Auxiliary.

The "Scroll of Honor," a book that lists the names of all honorees, is on display at all times in the outpatient lobby of the hospital. The names of all honorees are read aloud during the tree lighting ceremony.

Lights of Hope forms are available in the gift shop or at the information desk in Waynesboro Hospital and must be completed and returned by Wednesday, Nov. 23.
