Lane of S. Potomac St. to be closed Friday at library site

HAGERSTOWN — The left lane of South Potomac Street in front of the Washington County Library site at 100 S. Potomac St., will be closed Friday, according to a traffic advisory from the City of Hagerstown's website, www.hagerstownmd.org.

Crews from Dustin Construction will be pouring concrete and performing other work at the site where the central library building is being renovated.

The work is expected to begin at 10 a.m., according to the advisory. The road will reopen when the work is completed, which is expected to be by 4 p.m.

The right lane will remain open to traffic.

Motorists approaching the work zone should expect to encounter cones, barricades, advisory signs and other traffic control devices.

Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through the work area while the closure is in effect, according to the advisory.
