Douglas A. Seiler, 64, of Warrenton, Va., died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at his home.

He was born Aug. 3, 1947, in Highland Park, Mich., the son of Marjorie Cram Seiler and the late Charles W. Seiler.

Mr. Seiler was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was awarded two Purple Heart medals.

He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Warrenton Moose Lodge 1695.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Seiler; his children, Cindy Barnett, David Seiler and John Seiler; his mother, Marjorie Seiler of Hagerstown, Md.; and his sisters, Sharon Roy of New York and Carol Jean Stotlemyer of Hagerstown. Additional survivors are his grandchildren, Brian, Aidan, Kayla, Arabella, Shannon and Johanna; and his great-grandchild, Brodie.

The family will receive friends at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Little Georgetown Cemetery.
