Johnny Lee Kline, 62, of Williamsport, Md., died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
He was born Dec. 12, 1948, in Waynesboro, Pa., to Josephine Louise Praet Kline of Williamsport, Md., and the late Bernard Basil Kline.
He was a 1966 graduate of Williamsport High School.
He was employed with various construction companies in the Tri-State area.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam era.
He was of the Brethren faith.
He was a member of AMVETS Post 10, Hagerstown, Md., and Potomac Post 202 American Legion, Williamsport.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors, besides his mother, include daughter, Heidi L. Miller of Chambersburg, Pa.; sister, Daisy L. Kreps and her husband, Jack, of Williamsport; sister, L. Jane Bloyer and her husband, John, of Hagerstown; sister, Patsy A. Lindsay of Hagerstown; sister, Nancy J. Martz and her husband, Jeff, of Mercersburg, Pa.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five nieces; and four nephews.
The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Susan E. Boehl officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown. Military graveside services will be provided by AMVETS Post 10 and Marine Corps League of Hagerstown.
