Accident closes I-81 southbound near Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Police are closing the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 at exit 16 (U.S. 30) in Franklin County, Pa., south of Chambersburg, because of a crash involving an overturned vehicle, a Franklin County emergency dispatcher said.

The crash was reported at about 8:30 p.m.

A vehicle was overturned near the 15-mile marker, the dispatcher said. No other information was available.
