Hagerstown police asking for information on possible stabbing on North Mulberry Street

Hagerstown police said they were looking for a man who they believe stabbed another male during a large fight early Saturday in the first block of North Mulberry Street.

Robert Hamilton Howard, 34, of 4 N. Mulberry St., was charged with one count each of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and weapons violations, according to a police department news release.

Police were called to respond to a large fight shortly after 1 a.m. in the first block of North Mulberry Street, the release said. When they arrived, officers found a male with a nonlife-threatening stab wound to his neck.
