Michael K. Rohm, son of Wendy B. Powell of and Harrison C. Rohm, both of Warfordsburg, Pa., recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District, Pittsburgh, Pa.
The program allows recruits to enter the Navy and take up to one year to complete prior commitments such as high school. Using recruiters as mentors, this program helps recruits ease into the transition from civilian to military life.
Rohm will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
    
Matthew W. Pitchford, son of Jonita Pitchford and Perry Pitchford, both of Chambersburg, Pa., recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Pitchford will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
Pitchford is a 2011 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

Kimberly L. Mullan, daughter of Diane R. Peterson of Charles Town, W.Va. and Patrick J. Mullan, of Cumberland, Md., recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Mullan will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
Mullan is a 2009 graduate of Fort Hill High School in Cumberland, Md.

Brandon L. Wertz, son of Paula M. and Terry L. Wertz of Warfordsburg, Pa., recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Wertz will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
Wertz is completing his senior year at Southern Fulton High School.

Jonah D. Ensor, son of Denise M. Grabowski and Ellvis A. Ensor, both of Warfordsburg, Pa., recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Ensor will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
Ensor is completing his senior year at Southern Fulton High School.

Inez P. Hankerson, daughter of Terry P. Harrison and Anthony Hankerson, both of Chambersburg, Pa., recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Hankerson will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
Hankerson is a 2008 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.
