Left lane of South Potomac reopened at library site

November 09, 2011

The left lane of South Potomac Street has reopened at the Washington County Library Site.

The lane was closed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday and was scheduled to remain closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to a traffic advisory from the City of Hagerstown.

Work crews from Dustin Construction are performing work at the library site at 100 S. Potomac St., and the lane needed to be closed to accommodate the construction/delivery vehicles, according to the advisory.

The closure was expected to only remain in effect Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Washington County Free Library in downtown Hagerstown has been undergoing a renovation project since February. It is expected to be completed by April of 2012, according to the Washington County website, www.washco-md.net.
