Doris Malisa Rudisill, 86, formerly of 811 Salem Ave. in Hagerstown, Md., passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at Julia Manor Health Care Center.
Born Friday, Aug. 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. St. Clair and the late Mary A.D. (Hall) St. Clair.
She was a member of Broadfording Church of the Brethren.
She was employed by Ringer's Home Laundry for more than 30 years before retiring.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mary A. Detrow, Regina R. Russ and Kathy L. Stone, all of Hagerstown; two sons, Clarence G. Rudisill of Hagerstown and Kenneth L. Rudisill of Richland, N.C.; two sisters, Ella Mae Shoemaker of Hagerstown and Rhea M. Anderson of Boonsboro, Md.; six brothers, Charles A. St. Clair Jr., John W. St. Clair, Philip W. St. Clair, Victor M. St. Clair, Lloyd C. St. Clair, all of Hagerstown, and Harry E. St. Clair of Luray, Va.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy L. Rudisill; one daughter, Anna C. Emerson, two sons, Guy L. Rudisill Jr. and Shadrack M.A. Rudisill; one brother, George R.L. St. Clair; and two great-granddaughters, Mari Jayne Rodeffer and Emily Mae Stone.
Services will be Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown, with Pastor Pete Zerphy officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
