South Hagerstown Rebels (6-3) at North Hagerstown Hubs (7-2)

Series: North Hagerstown leads, 29-24-1.

Last week: The Rebels lost to Brunswick, 28-26. ... The Hubs beat Boonsboro 28-21 in overtime.

Notes: The Hubs have won eight straight games in the series. ... The Hubs have clinched back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2003-04. ... The Rebels have clinched back-to-back nonlosing seasons for the first time since 2000-02. ... The Hubs have won three straight games. ... Notes: The Leopards were shut out for the second time this season last week. Their 102 points scored through nine games is their fewest since 2002. ... The Warriors had their eight-game winning streak snapped last week against North. ... The Warriors will play Mountain Ridge in the Class 1A West semifinals next week. The game will be at Boonsboro if the Warriors beat Smithsburg.

Williamsport Wildcats (4-5) at Clear Spring Blazers (4-5)

Last week: The Wildcats beat Smithsburg, 21-0. ... The Blazers lost to East Hardy, 35-14.

Notes: The Wildcats are tied with Winters Mill for fourth place in the Class 2A West standings. A win could give the Wildcats their first-ever state playoff berth. ... The Wildcats shut out Smithsburg for just the third time in the 41-year history of the series. It was also their first shutout since blanking Clear Spring to close out the 2008 season. ... That game also marked the last time Clear Spring failed to score in a game. ... Blazers QB Adam Mellott is 129 yards short of 2,000 passing yards. He would become the first passer in Washington County history to reach that plateau. ... The Blazers are trying to avoid their first losing season since 2008.

Notes: Hancock led Allegheny-Clarion 24-14 with four minutes remaining, but Clarion scored twice to get its first win of the season. ... Hancock forced seven Clarion turnovers in the game. ... Garrett Wiles threw two TD passes and returned a fumble 83 yards for a score.
